I haven't had the pleasure of hearing or driving one yet. I plan to seek one out this Spring at the local dealers.

Just goes to show that magazines are nothing more than opinions. This one loves the SGT and the WRX comparo hates it. Go figure.

It sounds very similar to Bassani's exhaust note.

 

Doesn't the SGT come with the FRPP axle backs? I thought they were Borla.

Not that it matters. I have not heard the Borlas on an S197 and I haven't heard the Bassani on one in a few years. I was impressed with the Bassani on that car and on the Terminator Cobras. I was going to go with Bassani on my GT500, but, I ran into a deal on the Corsa. I really like the way the Corsa sound and they have zero drone.

AFBlue, Did you notice any drone on your setup?

I believe FRPP offers two different axlebacks. I have the the Borla-FRPP.
The ones on the GT-H and SGT might be the GTAs.
