Nice. Unfortunately, my 2008 is as close to that as I will ever get. The lottery will prob be my only shot at having one.

Love the sound! Wonder how that compares to the new Shelby? Anyone?

Oh, thanks Bullitt!

The first gen was over six inches less all around and nine hundred pounds lighter than the present gen GT.

Yes. I cut my teeth on first gen Mustangs. It just looks so much smaller in the video with Leno standing beside it.

Althouhg they did do a good job of the present gen mustang, it doesn't appear that much larger than the first (when they aren't side by side anyway).

It's taken me about an hour to get through the video (crappy computer), but Jay really captures the essense of why I (and so many others) loved the original Shelby GT 350 so much. It builds upon the already popular 1965 Mustang GT fastback and takes it to the next level.
The combination of the looks and that awesome exhaust sound just puts a big smile on your face.

My SGT does the exact samething for me now. Makes me want to go take her for a spin.

Later.

40 years will do that to you. When I had my first gen Mustangs I was 3 inches less around and 30 pounds lighter.
