Rear End Gear for the Shelby GT
Rear End Gear for the Shelby GT
I just noticed on Ford Racing that they listed the rear end to be used on the Shelby GT. The Auto is listed as a 3:33 and the Stick at 3:73

That will make it respond better....It should have been an option on the GT (regular GT).
I am still impressed by the Shelby GT (wish I had known over a year ago it was at least in the works.....I would have waited). It is a back to the past Shelby in my opinion. Tweeked the engine, suspension/handeling. Just like they did in 65. Shame no headers, but they have to market to the PRC (people's republic of california).....heck in my opinion...screw california....they want to sue car companies.....don't sell cars to california standards. You make joe citizen buy battery cars and ugly imports....they will change the rules.

Hey they already have their own "Special" car. Screw them. Give us headers.
If the Shelby GT comes with 3.73's, I'll be impressed. It's growing on me even more now.
Still don't like that hood scoop though. I wonder if there will be a "scoop delete" option.
