Hoblit Ford in Colusa, CA has a white Shelby GT in the showroom and a black one coming in from another dealer very soon. I just glanced at all the stickers on the window and thought I saw it priced at $50,000. Can always call them and see if they will do MSRP for those looking to get one from a Cali dealer. I think Wittmeier Ford in Chico had their black one at around the same price.

Concerning the "blue" stripes, it is the silver stripes that have a blue/gray
hue to them on the white GT's.

They are clearly silver on the black cars.

Have noticed this on numerous white Shelby GT's that we have looked at to purchase.

Wow, thats surprising how different they looked in that pic. I wonder why the side stripes on the rockers look silver still? Maybe the lighting of the good versus the side of that car makes the difference?

Doh, if I had read the first page I would have seen that AF said it was the lighting!LOL

Here's one that just sold on ebay for $36,950. It had no reserved so the last bid won.

I can't believe most of these aren't coming with the PTP. Such a no brainer option for a higher end interior.

It's the Premium Trim Package...the stitched dash, armrests and console lid cover. You can also order a second color ("two-toned" interior) but I got mine all charcoal.

I think it makes a big difference in making the interior look a bit more upscale.

The speculators and "Gotta-Have-Its" have bought the early production #s. Based on current pricing, the "bloom" appears to fallen off the rose on these SGTs and dealers who have had these going on 70+ days are looking to start turning inventory. For a comitted buyer, there are deals out there, so shop around-- we've got a customer flying down from Seattle to pick his new SGT up next weekend (he paid $1300 under MSRP).

I know the IUP (Interior Upgrade Package) is available on the Shelby GT, but I thought the PTP (Premium Trim Package) and the Comfort Package were NOT available on the Shelby GT??

IMO they should allow as many options as available and let the customer choose. I would also like to see more color options (Torch Red w/ white stripes ) and the convertible version they just sold at Barrett Jackson. I would have bought one of these if I could have bought a Torch Red convertible with the PTP. At the number of GT's they are talking about producing, I think Shelby Autos is limiting themselves too much (along with a small horsepower increase), so we are seeing cars that are not moving off the dealer's lots.

I looked at a black SGT near Denver a few weeks ago. They wanted nearly $50K. Yesterday I noticed that they were only asking $5k over sticker. When I inquired, they immediately offered the car at sticker. I asked what happened to the so-called "market", and I was told that it was all a matter of "perception". I got the impression that the car could be had for under sticker. Interestingly, another dealership not that far away said they had a steady market for $70k GT500s.

I am told that when they place an order for the Shelby GT's they hace to send a check right out to Shelby for the $8390 part. If true then a dealer with a few on order is suddenly got $25k or more oout to Shelby for a few months. Im thinking they dont like that part

Nonsense! Shelby Autos has emphasized their success relies on the cooperation and partnership with Ford and its affiliates. Everyone knows great relationships with solid rock foundations are always based on mutual trust.

I am sure Shelby Autos will extend the courtesy of concessions or at the very least offer a lines of credit*.

Hey thats a deal compared to an ARM right now and I dont mean body part!

I am close to moving on a deal for a SGT for under MSRP btw. I will make a decision in the mornig. It is down to a local guy at sticker or a few states away from 1k under. So with retrieval its pretty much a wash but the out of state one has "character". Ill let ya know how things work out

Before I got the GT/CS I made an e-bay offer on one in NC for $36,000 my offer expired so I found my car but this week the dealer started send me threading e-mails that my offer better be legit or they would take action. I did a copy & paste of the one ebay sent me & told them to do what they needed to or I could just send ebay the e-mails they had sent me. They replied back sorry to bother me.
On top of all that 2 black cars came in local Danville & Altivista VA damaged bad. The 2 cars have not made it on the lot yet.
