It will be an option...one of two you can select. Also it seems they are working on a brake upgrade which to me is a must have if you are going to slap a SC on the car already. I like speed, but I like control and stopping power too.

WEll, the post says it's "OPTIONAL", not standard. Look for the same retail markup you can buy a Saleen S/C for.

The poster I was replying to stated emphatically that an S/C will NOT be available for the Shelby GT, which runs counter to what AmyB stated. Whether it's optional or standard is not relevant based upon the original post.

I sure don't waist my time on Camaro or Charger websites. I don't like their cars, so why waste my time just to badmouth them??
I couldn't agree more. I'm in the same situation and absolutely believe this is the right car, at the right time for me. Would I love to wait for a Boss, Mach 1, or other SE that might have more to offer (but isn't even officially announced yet)? Sure, I could, but I've been looking for something new for the past 18 months; I've finally found exactly what I was looking for!

I also couldn’t agree more about the complaining. I'm almost ('almost') appalled at the amount of negativity I'm seeing from many in the Mustang community. Ford gives us options, and they're met with complaints. That’s certainly not a way to prove to Ford we like the direction they are moving in and want them to continue on this path, making more options available to the Mustang faithful. I'm certainly not<!--[endif]--> saying don't voice your opinions or speak up about what you don't like, but its almost like putting the proverbial cart before the horse (pun intended ) Let's give Ford, this SE, & the future of the Mustang a chance - at least until this version is released.

Okay, okay…I'll get down from my soap box now and go sit, quietly in the corner, waiting for my Shelby GT to arrive. <!--[if gte vml 1]><v:shape id="_x0000_i1027" type="#_x0000_t75" alt="" style='width:49.5pt;height:27pt'> <v:imagedata src="file:///C:\DOCUME~1\MattB\LOCALS~1\Temp\msohtml1\02\clip_i mage003.gif" o:href="http://forums.bradbarnett.net/images/smilies/nanadance.gif"/> </v:shape><![endif]--><!--[if !vml]--><!--[endif]-->

From the countless hours of useless information I've poured over researching this car the past two weeks, it definitely seems like there will be more than two options to enhance the base car available at the time of ordering (ie. Supercharger, Brakes, Rims, interior upgrades, spoiler, hood options, etc.). This is pure speculation of course.

Oh its a great time to be a Mustang loyalist! <!--[if gte vml 1]><v:shape id="_x0000_i1029" type="#_x0000_t75" alt="" style='width:42.75pt;height:12pt'> <v:imagedata src="file:///C:\DOCUME~1\MattB\LOCALS~1\Temp\msohtml1\02\clip_i mage005.gif" o:href="http://forums.bradbarnett.net/images/smilies/cheers.gif"/> </v:shape><![endif]--><!--[if !vml]--><!--[endif]-->

Correct! I was referring to the two choices of supercharger. The more options the better I say. I would like upgraded brakes, possibly interior etc.

Ah...okay. BTW, where did you see/hear/read that there would be two different S/Cer options? I did read in a post that someone posted a Paxton (like the CS6) or a FRPP/Whipple "like" S/Cer would be options, but everything I've seen from Amy B., she never discussed more details besides "it would be a check box option".

And your right. With great power, one needs great brakes. I'll take mine with a roots/twin screw please. Can you say torque?
