Hey everyone, I joined on here what seems to have been ages ago (really, when the SGT's were first announced). For various reasons (work, moving, life in general) I really haven't been able to catch up with what's been going on lately. I'm finally spending some time going through the forums and it really looks like quite a few folks have some really awesome rides (be it SGT's or otherwise) and were in the same waiting game as I was.

I figured it was about time to return to a bit more active posting/reading for a rather good reason...After waiting more than 15 months from the inital deposit at my dealer, through final delivery this past Saturday the 24th, she's finally at home where she belongs.

Its been a long, long wait - but I can say in the end its was all worth it. To those still waiting, you won't be disappointed. Hopefully you enjoy the assortment of mods I thought fit best so have a look at let me know; mods listed in sig.

The only question left is, what's next on the mod list?

Hell no! I wouldn't have paid that much, unless they swapped the 4.6 for a for a fully built 5.4, the tranny for a T56, and then some!

I out of luck really, found a small dealer in the middle of no where PA that loved Mustangs just about as much as any of us do. I started talking to him about wanting a GT500 right about the time they announced the Shelby GT (we're talking mid-August 2006). I walked in the next day with my checkbook and said "How much down do you want? I'm not paying a dime over MSRP (ie. no ADM) so think about this carefully." I walked out about 5 minutes later with an agreement in writing that the car was mine at MSRP.

Then Shebly announced you could further mod the car and I was literally off to the races.

You know its funny - maybe a little be eerie even - that are cars or so similar, sans the red brake calipers. I was poking around the forums and saw a post or two from Milstang, but it really didn't hit me until I read the thread you have there. I appreciate being pointed towards it so I could get a good look at his car. Either way, its one beauty of a ride. What a match up on the strip or a road course that would be!
