07-08 shelby gt- color help

hey all,
looking to buy a shelby gt here soon, and theres two so far within 250 miles of me (that ive seen so far). both are pretty far from me.

one is white with cream interior. 18k miles.

another is vista blue with black interior. 5k miles.

id prefer a black interior, but the white w/ grey stripes looks so dang good.....

both are N/A and have manual trannys and are for sale around 29k.

what should i do? settle for vista? (unless u guys have some awesome photos to win me over ) or try and find a white one with manual tranny? could be pretty far away?

29K is too much for either one of them (especially the '07), 25 would be the absolute top I would give, and that would have to be a one owner, pristine condition, ultra low mileage one. The market for these cars has been soft since the beginning, they sat on dealer lots forever (for years in some cases) and were finally selling for anywhere from 3 to 7 thousand below msrp even in '08. I liked the white too and was looking for one until I saw a Vista in person, and that's all it took.

Any you consider, pay close attention to the stripes and hood scoop in particular. They had a lot of problems with them, the scoops warping and pulling away from the hood, wadding the stripes up around them from expanding, and the stripes fading out and getting horrible water spots that wouldn't go away. Many were replaced under warranty, only to happen again. Also, look for rusted lanyards on the hoop pins, that was a problem as well.

$29k is too much in my opinion unless it was a SAI supercharged car. They usually bring $28k.

I prefer the white cars, but with different stripe colors. The silver on white looks horrible to me. However, if you change that stripe color to black or blue, it looks the best.

Here are a few pictures to help you decide. Either way, you're getting one of the coolest Mustang ever built.

I know there's a 2008 Vista Blue with black interior for sale at Gus Machado Ford - Kendall, in Miami, FL with only 5300 miles on it. Except for the condition of the stripes, it looks great.

Below is mine (not for sale) with 5200 miles on it.

Below is a link. Too bad there's no photos. I'd sell you mine for that price (32K), LOL, and mine is still under factory warranty, and always garaged.

They did make a few white 07' Shelby GT's with the Tan (parchment) interior. It is a low number. And the gray interior is common both years. Go to the Team Shelby forum and search tan or parchment.

Both the white and blue cars are nice with the polished wheels. They also have the grabber orange that will be very collectable.

I looked for a long time and ended up buying a Vista Blue 08'. I like the way the metalic blue pops when you clean it up. You will love either one.

I love the grabber orange. It's the best color and they only made 300 of them. I live in LA and everyone loves this color.

I like grabber orange also gnnin60. But I wanted metalic, so Vista Blue was what I got. I have people tell me they like the color all the time.
I like the SHELBY letters in your grill. Nice mod. Where did you get the letters and how are they attached?

I got the letters from a gt500, they come with self adhesive backing so I just stuck them on the front grill. They have been there for 3 years car wash after car wash.

Actually, only 215 of them, with only three automatics. I love the color, too. Sure gets a lot of attention - maybe not always a good thing.
