A co-worker of mine told me that this past weekend he was sitting in a parking lot and what pulls in next to him but a GT-H!
The front air dam rammed the curb in the front of the car with a loud noise that made my friend cringe.
The guy got out like nothing had happened.

It should be interesting when these cars are finished with their rental days.
We all know they will be commanding big bucks.

 

The story I got from Hertz is that they will all go back to Ford and get refurbished before they are sold. The front air dam is fairly flexible on the GT-H.

 

Yes they are - I did the same thing to my Hertz rental - you just don't expect it to be so low and it scrapes easily. I checked for damage and you could see where it had been scraped multiple times.

 

I saw a GT-H involved in a rear end collision in Coral Gables (Miami) three weeks ago. Its front bumper, hood, and fenders had major damage, not to mention it looked a foot shorter.

Whoever decides to buy one best make sure the front wheel alignment it up to specs. Just in case.

 

Yeah you have to watch it on those parking curbs, my GT/CS scraped once and I nearly cried. Just trial and error. Kinda funny how my butt sticks out so much just cuz Im scared approaching an unfamiliar lot.
