06 Shelby GT-H for a week "spluttering let down"

06 Shelby GT-H for a week "spluttering let down"
I rented the 06 Shelby GT-H #083 with 3666 miles on her for 2 weeks from Orlando international on the 1st of September after pre booking the car over here in England 3 months previous as soon as the bookings in the UK were available. The car looked fantastic when i picked it up "and stood through 10 min the Hertz check list" !
First impretions of the car were not good however the car spluttered and coughed under full accelaration from 90 mph up and stuggled its way to 125mph , anyone else notice this ,is there some form of electronic limiter fitted? or was mine poorly !
Other than this the car was fine , very quick off the mark up to the start of the spluttering
handled like a dream and sounded nice and got lots of attention everywere with people taking pictures of it werever it was "driven or parked" Orlando int Hertz has 50 of these cars and the manager said they expect them to sell for $70,000 through Ford dealers,very over priced for a slightly hoted GT that all parts are available from Ford, the rarety of the cars and the 66 nostalgia should sell them though,"i hope whoever gts #083 gets the spluttering sorted out"
I kept the car for 1 week clocked up 1000 miles in it, returned it "got charged a fortune for the excess miles over the 525 allowed for the week" and made do with a V6 coupe for the last week. I would post the pics but dont know how to get my pictures url ! If someone explains how to i will add the pics.
