i was hesitant to post the info as some may consider it screwing the stealerships err i mean dealerships. i have also been told that even after the paperwork is done (when the finance department is closing your deal) they can still come back if you dont have a legit pin. one of my alleged relatives may or may not have used my company for pins for about 4 or 5 cars in recent years with no issues. i have even bought a couple where they gave me xplan and i never had to generate a pin number..

the thing that gets me is that dealerships can do xplan at their discretion. i doubt they use it often, but it can be done. there are also some rare situations when xplan isnt the lowest price. iirc, its when the dealer has additonal money to help move cars. i bought a mazda mpv minivan a few months back and xplan was almost 1000 more than the dealer money the sales manager had to move the cars - so the moral of the story is: if its a hot car xplan is a good deal - if its an old body style or a slow moving car, you might be able to do a little better.

i just like to see fellow mustangers get a decent deal on the car. let them screw an old fart on a new shelby so you can save asome bucks on your car
