Great looking car CJ. I bet a Cal Special gets alot of attention in the UK. Are those taillights and side marker lights required by law there? Looking good!

 

Thanks man. Yup, the tail lights/side repeaters are required by law here. The guys who did the work did a great job - I really like the style of them.

Got angel eyes to replace the headlamps. One of many mods that I'll be adding to the car.

Nice looking Gt/CS and welcome to the family......are the side marker turn signal lights added "at the dock" or did Ford add those at the factory? Might be interested in picking up a set....

The side repeaters were added here by my importer to legalise for use on UK roads. Will try and find where they came from!

Don't start me off about Top Gear! (my nickname is a coincidence by the way, I was known as stig long before the Top Gear stig existed! We are both racing drivers though By the way 'The Stig' REALLY rated the Mustang - asked my importer - who supplied the Roush - for a business card!)

On a recent episode they compared a '67 GT390 with a new GT500 and a Roushcharged GT (which the guys who supplied my car lent to them).

I couldn't believe how many 'facts' they got wrong!!

It's more about 'entertainment' than being a proper car-guy programme.

Ello M8, First of all congrats on the new wheels....looks awsome!!
I've actually just placed an order on my black GT/CS today as a matter of fact and am excited as hell!!! ...Only thing i was gonna change on the exterior was the rear spoiler and go with the shelby GT500 spoiler but after seeing yours, i think i'm gonna have to add those black matt racing stripes too, they just look amazing!!!
