Strut tower brace 2007 GT/CS
Strut tower brace 2007 GT/CS
Hello; I need some help guys on what to do. With the engine cover on the strut tower brace fits but pushes down on the cover making it bow. Or I could take the dress up cover off and the strut brace looks good but shows the intake. The brace is Ford racing. The question is on or off. What would you do if it were yours? Thanks

Good luck
I cant remember where in this forum I read it, but there are instructions on how to get it to work. I think you have to remove the plenum cover and and bolt it back on with the spacer above the mounting points instead of below. This should give you a bit more clearence.
I found this
Notes: The Steeda strut tower brace for GT Mustangs will not fit on 2007 GT Mustangs equipped with Ford's new Appearance Package, due to the included Engine Cover. The Steeda strut tower brace designed for the V6 Mustang will work for 2007 GT Mustangs with the GT Appearance Package.
Fits Vehicle Model:
Ford Mustang GT 4.6L V8, V6
Fits Model Year:
2005, 2006, 2007

I have the steeda billet brace and it clears just as long as you move the cover bolts so that they are ontop of the mounting breackets intead of under. I would think the same would go for the regualr steeda single bar strut brace.
