Spoiler Delete on a GT/CS Vert??
Should I Spoiler Delete on my vert order? I have a spoiler on my 06' GT Coupe, but I think it will have a cleaner look without. My question: How does spoiler delete look on a convertible? Do you think it matters whether on coupe or vert, regarding proportions looking correct?

I ordered my redfire as a spoiler delete and I really like the look. I believe dly is correct, you can't order spoiler delete on a CS.
One thing to consider is the Shelby spoiler, it looks much better than the stock spoiler and covers the factory holes. You actually use two of them to mount the spoiler. ISELLFORD has one on his vert and it looks great.

Too bad Ford can't go back to the "build it my way" concept of
the original Mustangs, even allowing special body colors beyond the standard options. I realize that mfg costs will not allow for this anymore, but it's fun to dream about.
The GT/CS would look good without the wing, and that would make it some much easier to switch to a "duck-tail" design, if you so desired.

The '07 GT/CS project involved the "trial and error" of many spoiler types. A ducktail type was tried, but there was a quality issue.
The design team wanted to originally use the Shelby spoiler, but it "just didn't happen".
If any of you saw the "sneak" photos of a white CS convert, it had a V6 spoiler, which was "wrong", and only a test--at that time.
Ford DOES offer the Shelby spoiler--as well as CS parts in their '07 Mustang Accessories catalog.
Paul.

Even though I liked the look of my vert without the spoiler I really love the look of my new 3DCarbon 3Piece Ducktail Spoiler. This would be a good install for the CS folks since it covers the stock spoiler holes.

Bob, I've been thinking about that same exact spoiler. How was the fitment? I read a post where a guy was complaining about the spoiler having a "wavy" appearance as you look down it, how was the quality on yours? Thanks!
EDIT- look at the pictures in post #80 of this thread:

He says he had a replacement shipped and that it was wavy too.

Hello,
Mine is not perfectly flat and does have a slight wave but nothing IMO that takes away from the looks of the car/spoiler. Alot of these type parts would require many many hours of sanding and other prep work to be perfectly straight. You are welcome to take a look at mine in person to help make your decision.
