Smile My Vista Blue GT/CS

Here it is, just in from the dealer. Nice sound from the stock exhaust. I need to figure out if the hood scoop and plenum cover had to be ordered separately for a CS. It's missing both. I'm not that upset about it, just need to get some $$$ back if that's the case. Enjoy the pics!

I figured it out, I passed on the 54g Appearance package. I already had a plenum cover so that must have been the reason why I didn't order it. No problem, at least I know.

Hmmm had the same problem myself! Thought I ordered and didn't show up.
I think CS gets the same exhaust tips and you have the engine cover. Drive if for awhile and figure out about the hood scoop. Very nice looking car, keep us posted on how you like it!

Looks awesome! I must be out of the loop here, did they end up deleting the "California Special" badge off the rear of the car at the last minute before production started? I have not seen one on a delivered car.

TJ4Cam, they moved it from those cheezy looking script badges on the trunk lid to putting "California Special" in the center medallion. Here's a pic.

I'll get some more pics up here this weekend. I'll get the top up on it. Thanks for the compliments....it looks much better when you're standing in front of it!

Yep, the CS name plate is not on the car. Now, it's on the faux gas cap.

What about adding the original script from the 68 model some where? rear quarter panel or on the dash somewhere?

Did anyone else notice that Jayguy didn't have his shoes tied when he took the rear medallion picture?

Be careful Jayguy

Here's some more pics I took over the weekend of the engine and car with the top up. Notice the plenum cover from Midwest Auto:
