Shopping for a GT/CS Convertible - does anyone recognize this car?

Went and looked at an white 07 convertible yesterday. Saw a few mods that I would guess a previous owner would recognize. Would love to get some background on this car.
- 106K miles
- Flowmaster mufflers
- CHML has GT/CS etched into it.
- Creative repair attempt at driver's headlight.
- Car appears stock otherwise.

Thanks

Derek.-

Did you decode the VIN? Get a car Fax? It would tell you. I have an 06 Pony and I put the side and hood scoops on my self. That is a great looking car.

Yes. Carfax , window sticker all that stuff - its a legit GT/CS. Not showing any accidents. But it wasn't running 100% and saw the monkey-up'ed headlight. Would be great to talk to the past owner before pursuing a purchase.

Nice choice. I have a white CS also and they are stunning!

That ghetto headlight is the only downer.

Anyway, Hope it works out for you.

I was hoping the previous owner lurked about the forum so I could get some background on this particular car.

Ok. Gotcha. From your photos it's very similar to mine with the exceptions of the headlights and antenna. Also from the engine photo not sure about those straps. Mine does not have that.
It's nice to see someone else has good taste out there.
Anyone know how many 07 gt/cs performance white convertibles were made broken down by automatic or manual transmission?

Total 2007 'California Special' Convertible production was 2,601. In Performance White: 764. I don't have a further breakdown with transmissions. I have a 5 speed in mine and I haven't seen a lot more. Probably less than 1/2 of the 764.

Ok. Awesome. Thanks. Maybe I'll post a new thread on the forum and see if anyone has the breakdown on the auto vs. 5 speed transmissions.
