Shifter **** for 08 GT/CS

I thought it would be easy to find a 2" shifter ball for my 08 GT/CS. Im looking for a 2" or 2 1/4" shifter ball to fit my stock shifter. I can not find the thread size for the stock shifter. I drove 40 miles to Jegs only to find the ball shifter they said on the phone would fit..........didn't fit ! (Thank you Jegs)
Does anyone know the thread size for an 08 GT/CS? I want to have the correct threads and not use a universal fit ball.
Thanx

It's 12mm x 1.25. Grabberpony.com has them in many colors and options, I have tow from them.

You can always go with these wild custom ones too. They can make any thread size you want.
