Does anyone know if there is going to be a GT/CS in 2010 or later? I am set on an '09 just wondering if there will be a CS or any other special editions... I am not expecting anything until the new engine in 2011...

I have not heard of anything, there are two things you can do.
1: go out and buy an 09 and be happy now and enjoy.
2: wait until things get announced next spring and see what is available then.
question you have to ask is " how long do I want to wait, and for what?"

 

Ford typically saves the special editions for later in a body style's life to spark sales after the initial newness wears off. That said, it appears that 2010 will consist of a V6, GT, and GT500 model. Any special editions in the works might not appear until Ford feels that sales are sliding - maybe 2011 or 2012??? Pure speculation at this point, though, as there is nothing written in stone yet.

 

Agreed, I am looking at getting an '09 but will wait until I get to see the 2010. Since the engine choices will remain the same I really don't want to wait... Hopefully someone will leak the 2010 before November.

 

That is a very good point... I will do not think I will wait if the engines are the same; which is pretty much confirmed at this point... I just want to see the final shape before I put the cash down...
