I was talking with the author of the upcoming GT/CS book if he had heard anything about the 2007 production numbers, he told me that he should be getting them soon and was told the 2007 production numbers for the GT/CS was around 4,000 units.. Which would be ironic since the 1968 GT/CS production was only 4118 units.

 

Wonder how this will relate to VIN Numbers ?? Is there a special code in the VIN for the CS package? Last 3 of my VIN is 275

 

There is nothing in the VIN number that would tell you that your car is GT/CS. You can have your Ford Part Dept. do a HVBOM report on your VIN which would show you the code for the GT/CS option.

 

How do you go about getting a set of those?

 

I just laminated my Window Sticker which shows the CS Package. That should suffice..

 

Go to your local Ford Dealer's Parts Dept and ask them to run a HVBOM report and give them your VIN number. Here is the web site the dealer used to get the report.
