New Guy Just Ordered GT/CS

Hi everybody. A new guy here in Abbotsford B.C. Canada. Glad to be aboard. Have been viewing the site for sometime before registering. As you can see below, I've had a few muscle cars over the years. Just ordered a GT/CS Coupe today in Performance White. Should be delivered in late March. This will be the only CS my dealer will get this year. They had a Black CS on order for dealer stock, but were told they could have it or mine, but not both. Looks like limited CS availability for the remainder of the year, at least in Canada. Anybody else heard this?
Bob

Welcome to the group, Bob. In Kelowna here, there are 2 Ford dealers. The one I got my GT/CS from, has also had a white vert and a vista blue vert. He still has the VB on his lot available for sale. The other dealer has yet to get a GT/CS at all. So, yes, I would tend to agree that they will be scarce up here this year at least.

The Perf White looks great, and would have been my second choice.

Allright, another CS member with good taste. The white CS is hands down the best looking CS

Welcome and I am sure you will love the car. Of course I am partial to the VB color. But white is just as good. LOL

There is no limitation on the number of GT/CS any dealer (in Canada anyway) can order, but there is limited availability on the 64W 18" Bullitt wheels.

We have had four so far with a black Coupe currently on the lot, plus anothers two incoming, including a Grabber Orange GT/CS Convertible that will be my driver.

White shows off the striping and accents best. Vista Blue was my favourite, then along came GO...

GT/CS is a unique package. You will love it!

Welcome Allegro, you have made a great choice! I hope you can handle the wait better than some of us did. Gauranteed worth it though.

All smiles all the time with a GT/CS

Ford builds and sells new vehicles, but apparently not nearly enough to be financially viable, based on all were hearing. Could this have something to do with the fact they run out of components, in this case wheels, and take 3 months to build and deliver a car? I was initially told 6-8 weeks to get my GT/CS. Now it's possibly 3 months. Hello Ford! There are people wanting to buy your cars, but they're not going to wait a 1/4 of year for them. I still have the order for my 65 Falcon Sprint....ordered Nov 30/64 and delivered 2nd week of Jan/65.....6 weeks 40 years ago! In addition, I had a choice of 15 exterior colors and 8 vinyl trim choices. We can only dream. Technology has really improved things, huh guys!

I ordered a VB on Jan 23 and I'm still waiting for a Vin#... I hope there is not a hold up. I ordered EVERY option there is except the over the top stripes (dont go good with the GT/CS). I dare you to think of an option I didn't get...
