Hello everyone!

I'm hoping someone out there has pics of the Sirius Sat. Radio headunit. I'd like that same unit for my '05 when it becomes available, just curious as to how it looks.

It's exactly the same as the 05/06 Shaker units, uses the aux button. Complete BS that ford didn't let us have this as a factory option!

 

Right you Rocket! I'm ditching XM for Sirius when the headunits become available simply because I want someone at the dealership to do the install instead of some young punk at the local stereo shop.

I don't think you'll need the entire head unit Jon, all you need is the tuner. I'm waiting for someone to get back to me on a price and I'll do a write up on how it works.

 

2005-06 head units are not compatible for Sirius installation. (Have seen it attempted in an F150. Internal arrangement is nearly identical to the Mustang unit.)

Ford has a kit coming out soon that will add right too the 05-06 head units, I believe KC will have all the information for us once it is available. I think shaker 500 or 1000 only. I am hoping we will be able to add the aux jack as well like the 07's. If so that would be awesome. Anyway a couple of months too go.
