Has anyone seen a GT/CS in vista blue running around? Some of the original pics on the net showed a blue vert and coupe but I haven't seen any posted in the forums. I have one on order and can't wait to get it.

I don't know. I had to educate the dealer on the car. I have to call him today.

Too bad Ford didn't make an option for the stripe to also be available in white.
Vista Blue is just beggin' for a white one.

 

I have a Vista Blue convertible on order. It's "at the Ramp", ie, somewhere here locally waiting to be delivered to my dealer. I should be seeing it this week. Once I get it, I'll post some pics here.

 

Well, I just saw one today!!! Unfortunately I was out on one of my motorcycles and didn't have a camera with me. It was a Vista Blue coupe with auto and the black/ dove interior. VERY nice color scheme!! The interior goes great with the blue. The side stripes are all but invisible though. For anyone in the DFW area, it was at Town East Ford in Mesquite off of LBJ.

 

I like to see the offer the stripe in the Dove color to compliment the interior.

 

While visiting my dad at his nursing home this past Saturday, the only positive thing about that was being surprised at seeing one there in the parking lot. It was gorgeous. It was a vert with the top down so I could really ogle at the interior. It had manual trans with black/dove seats. Had a speck of bird doo on the back seat headrest & I wanted to clean it off for them but didn't want the alarm to sound lol. It didn't have a hood scoop though, just on the sides but looked just sweet as is. The color looked great & the front facia looked awesome. Parked my '05 V6 next to it & you could really see the difference (still content with my redfire though, didn't look too shabby next to it, lol) Missed whoever owned it, would have liked to meet them & commend them on a great looking beauty, & given the location & situation I trully appreciated it being there. You won't be dissapointed Mark, nice choice.

Supposedly a dealer here has 2 of them (according to the fordvehicles.com dealer inventory). I'm gonna go see if they're there tomorrow, and I'll take my camera. I want to put that front end on my car, but don't really want the whole GT/CS package.

 

the CS package basically is the hood and side scoups, front and rear end trim, side stripe and engine cover. Don't think I missed anything else, oh yea, only like 8750 being make.

 

and 18" alu wheels + shaker 500

 

Actually, the hood scoop is Not part of the CS package, it's part of the GT appearance package.

And the CS package does include the interior seats with black outsides and color inserts, where on a regular GT the interior color appearance gets black carpets/door panels and color matched seats and door inserts.

Well, I made it over to the dealer with the GT/CS's this morning. They had at least 2 black, 2 Vista Blue, and one white. Only one of the Blues was manual trans, everything else was auto. So, we took the car out for a drive. It's been 4 and a half months since I've driven one, and it was really great to get back into it. If it had been closer to what I want, I might have just driven that one home today. I'm starting to re-think my order, too. Kinda thinking I like the GT/CS more and more.

Anyway, here are the pics I took, with both interior colors, a few pics of the VB, and a couple pics of the White. Also saw a Ranger with a funky front bumper, I don't think it went with the rest of the truck at all, but someone will buy them, I'm sure.
