Question My boy got bit! Question

My CS recently had the rear bumper driven into. The damage is not bad but there is quite a deep scuff with an eight inch shallow crease. My question is can the dent be taken out without weakening the plastic in that area so that it may crack as the years roll on. The body man says he will heat the area and push it back in place. I wonder if the bumper should be replaced or am I being paranoid?

If the other parties insurance or wallet is paying for it, I would have it replaced. They do have some great new fillers for plastic repairs, but why if dont have to?

It will get fixed up in the end Spence overal glad you people were not hurt !
