Maintaining That New Tire Look
Someone here inquired about best tire care products: This tire solution works very well for us here.
First clean your tires with a good nylon scrub brush and a dish soap like Dawn etc. Then rinse and blot dry. Next. We find that using STP "Son Of A Gun" one-step tire care product will keep those tires of yours looking flat black clean and like they just came off off the new tire rack!
This product was designed as a spray on and forget cleaner/protector product. But. We spray it into a cotton cloth like a cut up clean t-shirt etc. And then just work this into the tire's rubber sidewall sufaces. You will be surprized at the amount of dirt that still comes up off of those sidewalls! Then apply a second scrubbing wet coat, wiping up all the excess. Finish it with a fresh cloth and just wipe until the rubber is almost about dry.
This product restores the new rubber luster and leaves a rich satin finish, while providing protection from cracking and discoloration too! See my pix. The Cal's tires are still looking brand new!

P.S. No we're not selling this! Just really quite pleased with it's great results and thought we could share with TMS Gang!!
