When the folks at Smith & Wesson make an emergency survival kit, they don’t screw around. Fire-starter, saw, whistle, signal mirror, .500 Magnum pistol, compass, Mylar blankets, folding knife.

Finished my Rasterbator project last night. Installed it on wall that had nothing going on. Each tile is 8.5"x11".

Bear update,
I was told by a neighbor today that the momma bear was found shot, killed and beheaded.
Animal control can't just relocate the cubs because they won't adapt and survive. They might capture them and put them in a zoo or sanctuary somewhere.

That does sound rough. I bet they wanted his teeth. A dorky friend of mine who hunts all the time has a bear tooth on a gold chain around his neck from the first bear he killed. It's the canine tooth, you know the fang. I bet that's what they were after. It's disgusting if you ask me. I've asked him if he feels like a real man wearing that tooth he yanked out of a bear he shot with a big *** gun.
