Thanks guys! One of these days I might have some money to do additional mods to the car. For now... I have to enjoy it as it is, and that's not too bad.

Hi a newbie here. All I gotta say if it was mine is-touch it and you die. I'd have to store that baby for the winter.

Thanks Ron! It sits in the garage waiting for the weekends to get out.

And welcome to TMS!

Hey Cliff, that's George's PJ. It's an awesome pony, one of my favorites.

Thanks to all who have looked at this thread! I hope it has given inspiration in creating your own personal custom stangs. Can you believe over 20,000 hits?! Wow!

One quick question if you don't mind. Did you give any thought to just swapping a new mod motor into your 67? I saw one in a 32 coupe last year. Or was it you could get a sexy car in a package that was already there? Inquiring minds must know.

Hi Ron, there were a few reasons... no air conditioning, constant dead battery, leaking everything and it was just sitting and rusting. It would have taken a good $50,000 to $100,000 to restore it properly. I had 30 great years with her and I felt it was time to move on. I loved the new retro look on the current Stangs, never thought that time would ever come. Now I'm so glad that I did because I have a whole new family of friends (here) a great shiney one of a kind pony.

Bill, I think it's only about 5k hits of my own. I doubt that I will ever catch those how-to's.
