My build date is now December 8, not bad for a Sept 30 order.

Let the waiting begin... hopefully before any snow...

 

My Delivery Date just got moved to 12/1/2006...........

 

That's wierd then its 3-4 month total ? like when the 05 first came out My Color Law suit , shortage on IUP parts, then Christmas plant closure. as far as I know they only have a problem with the side vents or scoops ? from the supplier. Sweet though you'll have a Merry-Christmas after all.

 

Congrats DPDIAMOND44P that's 9 weeks, you are one of the lucky ones on getting a normal build time, whereas, Champ 7 is waiting almost 5 months. I believe champ's order was badly screwed up by someone and I hope some kind of restitution is forthcoming.

 

The 8th of Dec will be 4 month they originally told me it could be 16 weeks so if I get it by the 1st week of Dec I will be happy. During this time I did get another 500 dollar rebate taken off and my local bank came down a 1/4 of a % in interest rates maybe I get some more goodys from my dealer if I complain enough when it gets here.

 

What does it say if you look up the vin # / dealer cade / body stlye thingy ? as well every dealer is supposed to get a status once a week ! ? to help inform you as well.

I been calling the 1800 its being builded this week should have it by the 1st of Dec. Both Dealer here in my area did xplan and gave me a 16 week window.The reason I choose the dealer I did is because they have a excellent service department and the sales person has been there for a very long time.

 

Good move as the Dealer cannot really be held to 8-10 weeks as that is an approximate and my overall as well was Service as well Staff that I know and many others I respect in opinion also know, keep in mind there is always a Dufus to put a dent in things to come and may sued an opinion, but long term really says a lot with things to come.
But in my case it will be thier Very First GT/CS and I'm scared they will not give it up Naaaah it will only do them well for me to have it.

 

I received confirmation that I have a VIN number... Maybe that Dec 8 is dearler receipt date??? anyway, getting ready for my first stang...

My GT/CS has been release on 11/15 and is due for delivery on 11/27/2006 its all most here can't wait...........

 

Its here the wait is over going to pick her up tomorrow can't wait.Dealer says it really looks sharp had to leave for work so I did not get a chance to go look................

 

Awesome congrats Champ7, so jealous.....my dealer said 4-6 weeks....one day longer then 4-6 weeks and I'm getting my money back. Its been 5 weeks so we'll see. Course the dealership has a few stage one Roush's, maybe I can get a deal cut if my car doesn't get in on time. I want what I ordered though.

 

My car is in! shockingly, it arrived on Nov 28, was supposed to be delivered on Dec 12. So, now I have to wait for bank funds to clear to buy it... Thats a lot of pain... I have to wait until next Tuesday Dec 5 to pick it up ... So, all I can do now is clear out the garage and make a new home for my first stang... Pics to follow early next week.. Even received the $1000 cash back and a great interest rate of 5.99%.. Not bad at all...

 

Congadulations almost Ford did tell me that what ever deal is on at the time a car comes in the it's highly likely that they will give it to the purchaser ?

 

Yes thats correct.... The buyer receives whatever incentives that are available only at time of delivery. The $1000 off is only on automatics, and you can't combine the $1000 cash back with ford 48 month 4.9 financing. I had to have the dealer go outside for financing at a local bank. Believe it or not, especially for you New Yorkers the dealer received a rate 2%+ below what the bank would give me. Unreal, in a good way. 6% 48 month is the lowest anywhere...

 

Picked her up tonight,well needless to say I am all smiles it was worth the wait,got it in the garage before the rain came and the dealer had her looking great.If we get some good weather this weekend I will post a pic,so I might need help on how to post a pic on here never did any pics on here. PS just ordered my custom Tan Flannel car cover from auto anything,its a covercraft so when I get it and put it to use I let everyone know if its a good product.

Ditto, it took me four months to get my 05 GT in June of 05. Ordered 2/16/05, delivered 6/16/05. But I sure love her!!!
