Love the car.... always getting looks. I picked mine off the dealership without the hoodscoop. Not a fan of it either.

Same if you have performance white it looks hot without the hood scoop.

I agree. I'm performance white w/o scoop or spoiler. I was out yesterday, top down. I felt 17 again though -- and rolling back 30 years is sure worth the price of the GT/CS Vert.

Anyone ever thought of painting the rear diffuser to match the body color? Being black it kind of blends in a little and being body color I think would really make it pop.

I love the way the black diffuser breaks up the white. I'm sure painting it to match would make it stand out from the crowd though. Sounds like a cool idea. I'm sticking with the blacked out theme. To each their own...

Here's an example of the Street Scene rear valance, which has a similar look, for reference:

Cool Black Back there said GT/CS!

Nice idea, but the black back there really said GT/CS to the world. If anyone out there cares about that but us crazies? My 2 cents. Someone said that they have heard that the 2008 Shelby GT's have gone to the GT/CS rears also? Is that really true anyone? If so, it figures. They can now take a GT/CS and then turn it into one of their high dollar CS Babies! CalStang

Love my Candy Apple Red 2008 .Also got the GTA's they did not come stock on mine,My wish list a strut bar that fits with the intake cover and a lower grill to protect the a/c cooler.Oh yeah this is the best paint I have ever seen on a production car not one flaw.
