No CS had a dash plaque I've ever seen, There was a guy making them for owners, but they are not stock.

I also believe you could get a CS with out the 1up I remember I had to order it as an option (I ordered mine from the factory) It looks like you have the two tone interior which only came with the CS.

Yup just looked at my Window sticker, the 1up was an extra option, so you could get it without it.

Sounds like eveything is good other then the bumper. Talk to the sales manager and ask what they can do about it. You might get a few bucks dropped off of it.
The GT/CS plaques are defenately after martket. No such option on them.

So with the current mods i would guess the car should have a tune or programmer put in it. I also assume i should run super gas not regular with these mode and it also had a cold air kit on it

As for the IUP, that is an option for 2007 so you can either have Satin Dash, Charcoal Dash or just an regular dash with no IUP. The Dash Plaque was created by Dave (jacostang) as an after market item this was not a standard factory item. If you have the VIN I can check the the window sticker or you can go to my link at http://gtcsregistry.com/windowsticker.htm

The only year the IUP was standard was 2009 where the Satin dash was standard and the Charcoal dash was optional.

As for the dealer I would go back to them to see what they say about it but I can just hear it...You bought the car as is but if they were looking to keep your business then they should fix it but again it is a used car... I don't know what the price would be for new bumpers but I know it would not be cheap for replacements and paint work. I have not received the email from your yet.

Thanks,

Ron

My best guess would be about 300.00 per bumper but this would be a Calif. price you may do better somewhere else. I got your email and your car is now in the database and website.

Any help guys???????
P427: IMO. By the pictures shown this is a nice looking GT/CS vert. A very popular color and has some great aftermarket additions already installed! The steering wheel looks as if it could have been swapped? We took ours out and replaced same with a Bullitt unit, because could not stand all of that reflection going on there. Easy change out if you don't like it! The rest of That "CS" interior looks pretty great!

The scrapes on the bottom of the front area are quite common on these and the Shelby GTs too. Because they sit so low. We really baby our CalStang's body and have gotten a few of those down there also! Looked at your rear end picture and really don't see the blue mark you discussed below the tail light? (See the P.S. below now).

The bottom line is how much you paid for this GT/CS! If you got it for a deal, then be happy you have a GT/CS vert and do some detail and polishing fixs! On the other had, if you paid too much for it and now want it fixed? You may be in for a big agreement fight? To get things done by the dealer that sold it to you? And if it is not from a Ford dealership, you may just be out of luck, to get them to agree to help you with some of these concerns?

Lastly. Just remember that is not a brand new car that you have purchased! These Cals are very wonderful machines! And an absolute joy to own and drive! Don't let this detailing stuff completely ruin your possibilities of having a very good, happy time with your GT/CS ride. "Good Luck" CalStang

P.S. Now I see the paint problem there on the far right side of the rear bumper cover! Agree. Needs a color re-shoot and clear coat, then good as new again! CalStang

You don't need a rear bumper, you just need it re-shot.

I didn't think you could get a non-IUP or at least non-ICAP dash in the things. Interesting. Glad to know that it's a real one though.

Good luck at the dealer. Your best bet would have been to NOT drive it off their lot with the damage that you're describing but that's too late now. Again, best of luck.
