ERL just informed me, my vista blue vert is being shiped by rail carrier, with ETA to dealer 8/16/06. Thinking, that a week to ship is a bit long, hoping for maybe Friday, but most likely Monday .Will try to get rail car # in morning. This is going to be a long week...

Update..... as of 8/5/06 railcar was in Thronton IL, interchange from Union Pacific to CN. Have lost tracking from there. Thornton is just outside Chicago, only about 400-500 miles away......aaaarrrrrrggggghhhhhh...lol

 

Ok, got some updates, these rail people are really messed up. Car was shipped from Flatrock on Friday Aug 4,06, shipped to Thornton Il,( Just outside Chicago) arrived 8/5/06. From there it changed from Union Pacific railroad to Canidian Northern. They took it from Thornton to Cincinnati OH, from there to Shreveport (?) KY. Transferred to Norfolk Southern railroad and shipped to St. Louis. Arrived here 5:36 pm,shipped out to Berkley MO at 8:13 this evening. From where in St. Louis I don't know but Berkley is a suburb of STL. it is not very far (hours drive by car). Scheduled to arrive in Berkley 3 am on 8/11/06 , with departure at 11 am on the 12th. The drive from Berkley to my dealer in rush hour traffic may be an hour + or - 20 minuets . ERL says delevery to dealer on the 16th...
I am going nucking frutz....LOL

ERL update today, "at the ramp"

 

Now I know why they call the ERL, evil... now it has droped " at the ramp" and is back to " shiped on railcar" but still has delevery by the 16th. Railcar tracking has the car as empty as of the 11th. #@$% computers. Guess I'll just hang tight and wait for the call.
