I see few CS's around. My 07 still gets looks and compliments. All nice and cool but I bought the car because I like it, not because someday for someone somewhere it might be worth something. Let someone else worry about that. For me, its about what I like and want and makes me happy. I drive it a lot because I enjoy it and it makes me happy.
My philosophy has always been a car is only alive and worth having if it is driven. Its what they are meant for. I have retirement funds that are meant to gain value (...please...) and I can wait years for that to happen. My car is now, and here, and is meant to be driven and enjoyed now and for as long as it brings a smile to my face. There are much more important things in life and death to worry about than whether or not my car will be "collectible" in 20, 30 or more years and whether or not someone assumes anything about me for having one.
