Black or Blue GT /CS

OK, I'm thinking a GT / CS may be the way to go, I've always liked the appearance and I think it is a good value!

Now my problem is color. I think I'm digging the black parchment interior.

Do I go Vista or Black...

I would really appreciate profile and/or front 1/4 pics of coupes of each...

I was all set on VB, but then saw a nice pic of a men looking black coupe.

thanks in advance.

I like both colors, of course i will say Blue. Black is very nice too, except it takes a lot of time to keep it clean. Just my opinion. I love the VB.

I was in your same situation a few weeks ago. Originally I wanted VB. VB is what made me decide on a Mustang as my next vehicle. Then, some friends of mine said they had just ordered a new Mustang and it was VB! I had no idea they were planning on doing this! So I went with my 2nd choice, black. I loved the Black/Parchment interior as well, especially with the Charcoal dash. Plus I wanted a vert, and I thought getting a black top would look better with with a black car. There are a few threads here that talk about how difficult black is to keep clean, and one day I went to work and there were 3 black Mustangs in my parking lot alone. Now that I'm paying more attention, VB is definently much more rare. I talked it over with my friends and they don't care if we have the same color car, so I decided on VB. But overall it's your choice, both are beautiful cars.

You can't go wrong with either color.

redfire....whatever

Seriously though, I am nearly sure I want a VB GT/CS w/ the parchment/black interior.

Any more profile pics of such a car (coupe!) would be greatly appreciated...

thanks

I agree, I think the parchment looks better with the black. There are some pics and links around here of VB with black/dove interior, it looks really nice. I think there was a Black/VB thread down a few posts or so that had some.

I was going to get dove interior but went with grey/black seats & interior , I thought just how much work it will be to keep the white looking really good. I wish we still had a member gallery to put some pictures in there.

I thought "Dove" was the gray / black seats & interior?. My white GT/CS has the dove / black combo.

Dove is the Grey/Black combo. I have it in my VB GT\CS. I love that color combo.

You have to be careful. Some of the commbos aren't what you think you're getting because they are two tone, one color for the door and dash and black for the seat. The GT/CS only comes in black for the seat, as far as I can tell. The other colors are for the door trim in the CS/GT.
I ordered the GO thinking I could get dove seats, but you can't. You get parchment interior and black seats. I saw that combo on another car in teh lot and it looks goofy, especially with orange. Black/black would look better, but I don't want black/black.

It's a problem, I'll tell ya.

The GT/CS (as far as i know) all have two tone seats. They all are black on the outside and either dove or parchment on the inside. The door inserts on all of them are black..but again i may be wrong.

If that's it, they sure don't tell you. There's nothing on the web from Ford. I'm looking in the brochure, and the trim color availability is given for the GT Premium. I'm assuming that trim color isn't modified based upon election of the California Special package. I could be wrong. You cannot chose the Premier Trim package with CS. If CS has a whole different interior color scheme from the GT Premium, Ford doesn't tell you about it.

If you go to the Build your own ford and click on the details of the CS package, you get Black (seats) with Dove or Parchment interior environments (doors). Same as in the catalogue.

The two tone interior (seat inserts) is only for the GT/CS. And you are right, you can not get any of the other trim packages that come on the regular GT.
