It's been quite a while since I posted a pic in here. Got to clean her up with the beautiful weather yesterday. 5 1/2 years later I still love driving her every day!

I honestly do. And considering she looked like this 3 days ago.....

 

She looks great in the first pics. Not so great in the last one.

 

Mine looked the same way i live in upstate New York it was white with road salt fri.It was sure nice to hand wash it .Yours is looking mighty fine love those wheels

Thanks Charlie! Looks like new from far away....then you get up close and see all the nasty little rock chips. I guess that's what happens when you drive it every day though.

 

fwiw, I'm starting to think that's why our eyes fade over the years. So we don't see rock chips and those... lines around my eyes! It's not macular degeneration, its face regeneration. lol

Except now I'm having to trim my beard with glasses on so...

 

Lucky for me I don't have a beard. I'm pretty sure my husband would divorce me if I did.

A friendly word of advice, if you ever want to clean your hood's heat shield, get some spray tire shine and spray it on an applicator pad. Then "wipe" the shield down with it. Not only will it make the shield look like new, the tire shine will keep the dirt from sticking. Just wanted to offer that to you or anyone else who might be interested.
