Thanks to TacoBill's tech write-up, I've got new rear springs!
I've had my Roush rear springs and BMR panhard bar in my basement for weeks. This past Saturday was really nice so I decided I'd put them on. I was going more for leveling the car off than lowering it. Hence the stock ride height for the front.

Mark,
Please don't feel like I'm living in denial, but honestly, I don't. I know I
should because the springs are stiffer and there's less travel, but on the
open road I do not. At speed (65mph), I would hit little things like
expansion joints, very small imperfections in the road and the front
and rear respond the same, both in actual feel and 'sound'.
When I go over the speed bumps at say 5-15 mph, I do. The rear
is noticably harsher. The answer there is to slow down! Why would I be
flying over bumps designed to slow down traffic, anyway.
If you've read my other threads (here and on MF.com) I was inquiring about
Tokico D-Specs in antcipation of the ride being so bad I'd want to address it.
So far, so good. Remember, these Roush springs only drop the rear .75-1.00
inches. Lovin' the look. Like night and day. Any sTANGer would notice it, but
the common folk, prolly not.
What I'm really liking is throwing the car into a sharp turn or cloverleaf and
gettin' on the gas. When I hit an imperfection under these conditions, the
azz end no longer wants to kick out. There was always that skipped
heartbeat when the car was 'airborne' for that tenth of a second and she
started to come around. The car plants quite nicely, thank you. On the
other hand, maybe I'm not driving fast enough? I can fix that with the right
foot, tho! (I'll work on that and get back to ya!)

TY, Danny. It's a entire kit I got from Classic Soft Trim in Austin, Texas. I worked with a guy named Jimmy Stratton. If you talk to him, or Bob B. just tell them you know me from GrabberOrange.net. $699 plus $75 s/h to my door.

Mark,
They have the exact same kit for Stangs with airbags and without. I looked at their PDF files and the kit number is actually different. Here is a link back to my site showing all four pdf files:

They are in the first post, just under the header: Feb 17
Let me know what you think...
