Stingers
I installed the FRPP Stingers yesterday and what a difference in weight.I really like the rumble and the engine doesn't sound so choked up anymore. They are loud on take off but for me thats OK.They prolly aren't for everyone.@ 75mph they sorta humm but I wouldn't really call it drone. The Shaker 500 compensates for this little factor.
I've run some very badd azz bump stick cams in my older muscle cars with two chamber Flowmasters but the Stingers are pretty mellow compared to them(Flows).

I've got two-chamber flows in both my 98 GT vert and my 66. The vert's a slushbox so there's some drone at 65-75, even though it sounds great around town. The 66 289 is a mild build, but has tri-Ys and 2.5" exhaust, and with the flows it really sounds mean - but loud. Too loud to be comfortable for long at highway speed. I'm actually thinking about putting 3-chambered flows in it...
I actually like the sound of the stock 07 exhaust, although i wish it were just a tad louder. I'll probably leave it alone for awhile.

You can accomplish that by changing the tips.Increase the size to a 3 1/2".I used to do that on my older street machines.Summit has some nice slant cut rolled tips for around $30.00 each.
