Originally I ordered the car August 1st, but nine weeks later I still didn't have a VIN so I canceled the order and went to Village Ford in Dearborn MI. Four weeks later, my car was delivered - just in time to put it away for the winter...

I did install a JLT intake and Bamachips tune, and had custom reverse-C stripes and hood stripe put on. Next year I'll get the ducktail, and rear window louvers painted and installed.

I can't imagine getting any other color... GO is awesome.

Congrats! So far I've yet to see any of the G.O. cars that look the same. The posibilities are endless and the color IMO just screams "Hot Rod".In your case a fine street machine muscle car orngy car

I have considered that backwards C look and she looks sharp on the coop! Nice. I wonder if anyone here with some photoshop skills could show me what it would look like topless?

Grabbah, Dabbah, Doooooooooo! Welcome to the club!

Say is it just me or is PA the state with the most Grabber Orange Mustangs in the USA? I live minutes from Philadelphia, so I might as well be in that stat. The majority are above the Mason-Dixon Line, fo' sure.

Very nice execution on the '69 C-stripes, Rory! I was wondering who would be the first to sport that look. Here's a photochop I did back in the day when I was undecided about which direction to take. Somebody had a Screaming Yellow GT and I just changed the hue. I like yours better!!

Thanks for the compliments - I get thumbs up and smiles every time I drive it around town.

I didn't want to cover up too much of the orange hood with a hood blackout, but was afraid the single stripe on the hood (more like the 70 than the 69 model) wouldn't look right either. But I kept the width of the stripe the same as the black "grill" on the hood scoop and I think it came out great. I'm still trying to decide if I want to put thin stripes down each side of the hood stripe (similar to the 70 mach).

I AM going to blackout the center of the taillight panel and add a small pin stripe on the back like the 69 boss has next spring. Then I'll finish it off with a chin spoiler - probably a Shinoda Boss or FRPP. I really like the CS front fascia, but don't have the $$ for that...
