today i saw a 2 week old gt500 run only 13.2 in 1/4

the guy ran 13.5,14.0 then put on slicks and still couldnt break 13... i just shook my head. i said to myself my car ran 13.3 with so few mods... anyway i hope it was just the driver and the car being not broken in.

...crapy driver. The GT 500 is fast as hell no matter what hype it gets. Anyone pick up the new motor trend?

Even worse, some guy has gotten a Z06 into the 10's with just a set of drag radials and a little help from nature via 850 feet below see level.

Naturally bowtie fanbois the multiverse over will not include that little fact, but IIRC its was 10.85 @ 129 mph on DRs, still pretty **** fast and a very compelling argument for light weight and big horsepower.
