Have you seen the video that they have of that thing on the dyno? I need a change of pants everytime I watch it. It sounds like a tornado siren. They put down 810RWHP with that thing, and I think I read that was the only modification.

I am moving in the direction of a KB and will probably pull the trigger once we start getting some real world info on what kind of power these engines can SAFELY and CONSISTENTLY handle over time (over time = 30-50k miles)

Here it is. It's not the most exciting thing to watch but it sounds really cool.

it took a minute for the video to load on my cpu.

Here's a fantasy I could relate to and would totally enjoy.

A long stretch of road... a county sheriff cruising half a mile ahead... down shifting, ripping it, and passing him by at 150 mph with the sound of the tornado siren...

I could just about picture the his facial expression, not to mention the need to stop by the nearest toilet. ... WHAT THE HAIL...!!!

One of my Uncles on his Ninja back in the day did just that and the Cop called my Aunt to say since he had the B***S to do that then he was not even going to offer him a Ticket.

Im on the list to get it when they release it. They told me on or about the 15th of February they should be shipping. Im going for the 3 1/4" pulley and the 3" pulley first. Then Im changing the rods/pistons to go higher boost (down the road a bit) . Only bummer is that you have to notch the x brace on the hood and remove or cut a hole in the hood blanket to clear the supercharger.

Those bummers will soon be forgotten the first time that thing winds up.

The only real question would be: "How are you gonna keep that thing on the road"?
Like drivin' in buttah!

I think its going to be fine. Launches will be the hardest on stock tires but Im already wanting for way more pull on freeway acceleration. It goes good with the JLT and SCT tune, but it needs alot more to hang with the C6 Z06!!

I give them pics of all the mods I do on my cars as well as receipts. They cover it as long as there's proof it was on the car. I love State Farm!

Then it will be "get up and gone". It shall be interesting to see what it takes to get her to hook up after the KB goes on.
