More proof of a 2009

I sold my '03 Mach 1 (Azure Blue) to a friend whose wife has an '04 Mach 1 (Competition Orange - unique to '04). It's cool to see them at car shows with their "his & hers" Mach 1's.

Yes, there were Mach 1's in 03 and 04 model years. Just shy of 10K were sold as 03's, and another 7K were sold as 04's.

I must Say from what I have seen in the spy pics The only thing I am really not likeing is the White back up lights in the tail light. I would rather see a bumper mounted back up light. Round with a metal ring would really go with the Classic Styling. .

Reguarding 1969 BOSS 429's ...
I'm 100% sure ALL came with Power Front Disc Brakes (optional on Mach 1)
I'm 100% Sure ALL came with Power Steering (also optional on Mach 1)
I'm 100% sure that ALL came with the DELUXE INTERIOR DECOR' GROUP with COMFORTWEAVE HIGH-BACK BUCKET SEATS, and FLOOR CONSOLE.
I'm 100% sure that ALL came with Visibility Group and Deluxe Seat Belts (optional Mach 1, std. on Shelbys)
I'm 100% sure ALL came with the Tach Instrument Cluster (also optional on all Mach 1's except 4-Speed 390 & 428 CJ/SCJ)
Besides all Mach 1's and Shelby's, very FEW 1969 Mustangs came with this super deluxe interior. Grande's did have a variation of it, but the console was optional and the high-back Mach 1 type seats were not available. I've got some old stats on options (1978 Mustang Does It) and it shows that Power Steering & Power Disc Brakes were not put on a very high percentage of Mustangs in 1969 either (66.2 & 28.1%). Visibility Group and Deluxe Seat Belts were very uncomon options.
My point ... for 1969 the BOSS 429 was a LOADED Mustang, in no way could it be considered a factory stripped down model !!
I'm less of a 1970 expert, but I think some parts of the interior package may have became optional.

I've been a '69 Mustang junkie for most of my life ... still got the 1969 GT Hardtop in my garage that I personaly restored and have owned since 1981.
351W 4 BBL, 4-Speed, 3:50 T-Lok, Calypso Coral with Black Deluxe interior basically identical to a BOSS 429. Car originally had a std. interior and I researched and added all the correct for '69 parts to make it Deluxe Comfortweave Highback including the Tach type woodgrain dash and "Mustang" passenger side dash emblem.
I'm on my 3rd order-out V6 5-Speed SN-95 (see sig or NOT ... '04 Competition Orange with Cobra Seats and many other up-grades) daily driver ... it now has over 90k miles. Previously had a Blue '94 (89k) & Chrome Yellow '98 (130k). Probably haven't posted on here for a few years, but this post caught my attention.
