I found this at Sloan Ford today when I went to look at a 2004 Mach 1. The dealer said that the owner ordered it for a friend, then the guy decided he didn't want it.

He told me they are selling it at MSRP (48k and change), but they have a "Current Market Value" sticker on it of $68k and change.

First GT 500 I've seen in person...really sweet car!

 

"Current Market Value", huh? I like that....I think I will do that when I get rid of my Intrepid and see what happens.

"I am asking $10,000, but current market value is $39,000." Maybe I can get a few people into a bidding war.

 

So wtf does that mean? Are they selling it at MSRP or not?

 

Well, the saleman told me they were selling it at MSRP, I think that if they are, the sticker is supposed to mean "We're not taking anything off it, so just write the check."

 

Looks just like the one I saw at my dealer today when I went to have some service done to my focus...It was sweet! Oh...and it was sold at MSRP!
