As far as I can see that dealer just DEVALUED a preferctly good Shelby GT 500. If you want a Sallen go buy one, if you want a Shelby GT 500, you would most likley want to keep its value as an original, not a dealer boogered up mod. That car is no longer original and has lost collectable value already.

i think they crashed the car or damaged the original bodywork in someway... so instead of fixing it, they modded it..
