Hey there,

Yep - they are vinyl - right from Ford. They are supposedly UV coated though - which helps to protect them from the sun.

Hope this helps

Thanks

Unfortunately it doesn't look the same without the stripes. That's a credit I'll conceed to Carroll Shelby.

amyb would be proud!

A complete set is something like $1700 - NOT something to add after the fact

1700 bucks for a gt500 set of vinyl stripes??!! That is insane! I would rather go with the JLT intake/tune and put on another 100 horses for half the price!

If only the car was free for the 45,995 they charged for the stripes.

If you have the willingness to learn something new, buy BSM's generic 12-inch wide striping and cut them yourself. It costs $59.95.

It takes a lot of patience and knowledge of a few basic rules on how flat striping needs to be cut to apply to a curved surface and over sharp bends. Some pieces will require more than one attempt but the end result is definitely worth the effort. I know because this is how I did it.
