GT500 Brake Rotors.. cross drilled?

I've read a lot about the GT500 rotors being cross-drilled, and have seen plenty of pics showing the same
however, from the threads related to retro-fitting GT500 brakes, i noticed the rotors are solid

can anyone please confirm?
are the rotors cross drilled? if not, is it an option to have them drilled and/or slotted?

They are vented, not cross-drilled...

so basically if i'm not mistaken, the rear brakes on the GT500 are the same as those fitted on standard GTs, with exception to the Brake Pads.

however the front brakes are 14" vented Brembo rotors with 4 piston calipers

this is despite most of the media showing drilled front rotors..

The concept car had cross drilled brakes. You may be seeing those in pics. As Pace said, the real ones are only vented. In reality, cross drilling is really only good for looks. They have a tendency to crack when heated up.

I havent heard that one before. I have all the shelby brake parts ready to install and no one mentioned that the rear calipers were different other than the pads and the black paint.

As a matter of fact, the latest dealer parts catalogue shows the same part numbers for the rear brake assembly on both the Mustang GT and the Shelby GT500, except for the rear brake pads (7R3Z-2200-A)
apart from that, rears are exactly identical.

The Shelby Rear Caliper Part Numbers were only recently Listed. I can not confirm the Differences Between the two phyically yet. I did Compare the Shelby vs Gt Pads and Found no Physical diferences.

The ones on my '07 are 14" Brembo 4-Piston Vented only. The rear is Stock GT painted Black. I am not aware there is an option for the drilled rotors up front. I once asked my GM at the Shop and he had no knowledge of such a Factory Option on the Shelby for 07.

The rears are SUPPOSED to be 2-piston, although there is conflicting information in the literature. They are both the same size, however...
