GT 500 Current Pricing ???
Just for the record ... Last night at a local car meet here in Houston I spoke to someone that recently (last week) purchased a GT500 for sticker price !!!
I don't remember asking him but I don't think he is a Ford employee neither.

I'm seeing 3-5k over on new '08s and around 46 - 55k on "used" 07s with mileage from 600 to 2000 miles.... Remember what pricing was one year ago? Definitely moving in the right direction.
I almost bought an '07 today with 600 miles for $48k, delivered to my door from Florida. The only thing holding me back was the charcoal / RED interior......
I think I'm going to keep looking.

Huh? charcoal / RED interior
I think you mean Alloy and Crimsom which is vvery Hot!
I stand partially corrected. The official colors are Charcoal Black / Crimson Red according to the 2007 Shelby Order Guide. This is not my cup of tea. This isn't what you're talking about, is it?

I bought it yesterday. I kept haggling over the phone and ended up buying it for $46k. Considering it's basically a new car with 600 miles, I think I did okay. It's going to look sweet in my garage next to my tribute. I'm even going to make the authentic one look just like it -- chrome wheels, blackout, filled in third brake light (relocated to the top center backglass), etc....

PLEASE SEND MORE PICS !!!
Actually, until very recently I didn't hold this belief, but I am now convinced that we are within a few months of GT500's being regularly available at MSRP. Seems like the market willing to pay several grand more than sticker for these is drying up now and, as often happens in instances like this, once those folks are gone a lot of the remaining folks who want a GT500 are going to beat the dealers who held out too long (ie, those who have been turning down myriad potential deals at MSRP trying to get rich on one car typically) to death. I know of more than a few dealers who have several 07's sitting on their lots, not because nobody wants them, but rather because they want so much for them.
While I would never ask more than msrp for a GT500 if I owned a dealership IMO those dealerships that have been going the ADM route would be well advised to seriously consider taking msrp deals if they have more than one GT500 on the lot, particularly if those GT500's are 07 models.

I never went to see the car but there was a shot of the rear sides, possibly the driver's side, which the lower stripes seemed to be out of place. I have yet to see a GT500 from the factory with any visible defects. It could have been the angle of the picture or my eyes playing games with me but they usually don't.
Here's the best three pics I could find of the driver's side. If you're referring to the side stripe on the rear quarter panel, it does appear at some angles that it's not straight with the door striping. But that's because the body at that point flares out towards the wheel. I noticed this on my car which I installed the same striping on myself.
