This is a pic of the left front, but finally got around to swapping out all my brakes today - DBA (Disc Brakes Australia) 5000 series 2-piece rotors on the front and DBA 4000 series on the back with Goodridge stainless brakes lines and Hawk HP+ pads and flushed the fluid with ATE Super Blue

The install was pretty straight forward and no complications with the exception of the usual having to wind the pistons back in the rear caliper, for some reason I always have to tap the right rear piston to get it to twist but otherwise not to troublesome.

I think next big brake job I'm going to replace the rear calipers completely. The Brembos are really a joy to work with in comparison - might look into a new front set as well since these have a few chips in them.

Also bedded the brakes in - luckily I'm not far from the Colonial Parkway near Yorktown and Williasmburg so that provided the ideal place to bed brakes per Hawk's reccomendation - 6-8 moderate stops (really decels) from 30-35 and 3-4 heavy stops from 40-45 then riding for 15 minutes to allow the brakes to cool down without having to stop.

My OE fronts have had a pad change and the I had to replace the rotors and pads on the rear so I just stuck some cheap stuff on until I was ready to install the DBAs and Hawk pads so a direct comparison to the OE setup would be hard to comment on this late in the game (almost 44k on the car) but one thing was readily apparent from the hose change and thats pedal feel which is vastly improved - rather than the squishy OE pedalthe current setup feels nice and firm as well as featuring much improved response - this could be the aggregate effect of the new pads, fluid change and hoses but it feels alot better than before.

I washed and cleaned the car before I bedded the brakes but after returning home (and a few more repeated panic stops from a very high rate of speed) the brakes did dust up a bit - will see how the do in normal everyday driving. I'm not adverse to them dusting since the OE brakes were very dusty as well.
