Engine changes 07-09

Hey guys quick question. What has been changed on the 5.4L from 2007-2010 to bump up the HP?

Ford Racing Cold Air Intake and canned tune. It is available for the 2007-2009 through Ford Racing.

did they reroute the radiator hoses like on the 4.6? dunno what year it changed, but from the 06 to the 09 the 4.6 water circulation was revised- looks like they reversed the flow or something?

They added knock sensor capability to the ECM which enabled them to add timing to the stock tune thus more HP. This along with the aformentioned much improved CAI in the 2010 adds up to the improved HP rating.
Look for a much improved exhaust design for the 2011 as well as the Aluminum alloy engine block.
