Have the chance to purchase a used, low mileage, 07 GT500 from a private party, white/blue stripes, black interior, about 3k on the odometer (35k bucks). An I'm curious as to what you owners think of the GT500 now that you've had them a while. maintenance/upkeep etc-etc. Or should I just continue to save my money toward the new GT500?

Is there much difference between the two models? (I really like the stile of the 07over all)

Forget all after hello, he sold it last night...Curses foiled again!

 

The asking price was fair, the low mileage was great. One item you have to look close at is many '07s had the flywheel warping due to engine heat, leading to subsequent transmission and shifter damage. The shifting has to be precise, any grinding or difficulty in engaging a gear should raise a red flag.

 

Keep looking, the body style for the '07, 08 & 09 are all the same and some good deals can be had even on new models of each.
