I hope I'm not asking a newbie-type question, but what color is Alloy Metalic? Is that like a silver color? This is the first time I've seen this color mentioned. Oh, and is it just me or does it seem like Valencia Yellow should have black stripes as a second option?

It looks like they tried to photoshop the mirrors red.
The more I sew the car the more I love it. Did anyone else noticed the blue engine bay of the engine pic on the gallery, the blue looks nice from what I could see. Why wont u just show us pics of the blue Ford, i can't wait to see them.

Wow, 8 Miles per gallon city. Tht's the result of that monster engine pumping all that power.
I wonder how Tungsten Grey Clearcoat (with Satin Silver stripes) will look like, and I want to see Vista Blue Clearcoat (with Performance White).

That could turn out to be a major deal-breaker for alot of people, myself included. You'd have to carry extra gas along on any road trip.
That's seriously bad news. :notnice:

Those MPG numbers are crazy. I have a supercharged (ATI) F150 FX4 SCrew that gets 11MPG around town (with a heavy lead foot) and about 14 on the highway and my truck weighs in about 6000 pounds with me sitting in it.
It seems hard to believe that the GT500 would only get 8 in the city. Almost insane!
One of the problems of a roots blower is that boost is always there all the time(this is also a good thing (lol)). Gives you instant power but uses more fuel, too. Still, I am surpised at those numbers. Kinda disappointing.

I KNEW IT! Check this out guys...on the same site they say this:
8 mpg city is NOT "surprisingly good fuel efficiency" in anybody's language.
And I actually can't find those mileage figures quoted above anywhere on the official site. Is someone pulling our collective chains, I wonder?
EDIT: I just went and checked the specs. They're identical to the ones listed above, with one important addition: the fuel economy. The official site doesn't list economy at all, leading me to believe that someone is f&*%ing with us by making up those figures.
Developed specifically for supercharged applications, these high-performance heads use high-flow ports and specially calibrated dual-overhead camshafts to deliver optimum engine “breathing” along with surprisingly good fuel efficiency and emissions.
