Well today I was searching the Dealers Inventory out of just plain being bored and I found that a Ford Dealer here in Austin (Leif Johnson) has 3 Shelbys! Isn't this a little odd? I haven't heard seen any dealers with more than 2. Anyway I'm gonna go check em out tom and see what they want for em..... or wait let me rephraze that, what the ADM is... and also do a little

They do have 3 as I was there last Saturday and all 3 are already sold for $20,000 over MSRP . They can order 2 more, but also at $20,000 over MSRP . They also have 2 Ford GT's and a 1971 Mach 1 for $39,995.

 

Yup just got the news just as you said.... What a rip.... Their email to me was very nice though. They didn't shoot crap info at me or anything...

 

They have GT500s on their premises. All three have been sold for $20,000 over. Why would all three GT500s still be in their hands? Sounds like a major load of car dealer BS!

 

yeah me to... the guy basically tried to start a fight with me when I told him the price would eventually go down on these just like the terminator cobras. He then told me that no cobra ever sold for less than 5k over msrp. I then told him he was an idiot and I knew several people who had purchased unders MSRP. lol wow... alls I wanted was some info on the 500s

 

I am also here in Austin and have been in contact with Leif Johnson. The three on the lot have been sold for 20K extra to folks in other states over the internet and are waiting to be picked up.

They have offered to let me order one of the 2 07s they have left on their allocation, but they are still trying to get 20K over sticker.

I have politely declined...

 

I never actually went by there since they said they were sold... I might just go by there and drool lol

 

These "out of state" buyers must not have a any Ford dealers where they live. Anyone willing to pay 20 grand over will not need to go to another state to get a GT500. This is nothing more than a car dealer lying to a potential customer.

Lay a bag with 65 large on this greaseball and see how sold these cars are.

 

Got a dealer here in Tyson's Corner has 1 White GT500 with blues stripes and $20K Low Commodity Market Adjustment. I hate those guys...
