Poking around the updated Shelby Autos website and came across Mac Toolboxes with GT500 lettering and graphics on them. Painted to match GT500 colors and strips. They look very cool. Bad news though... only available to GT500 owners according to the site.

Ok wonder what the mark up is on this over the same tool box from MAC.

 

It looks to be the MAC 11-drawer workstation. The MAC website lists it at $3,500. Considering the 50% markup on GT500's.... maybe $5500-6000 I'm guessing.

 

How many people will be making "clones" of this one? Any 40th Anniversary models to match?

 

Those who pay the markup prices on the GT500's should get this as a gift for thier willingness to pay that much.

Hmm... Bidding will begin on Ebay shortly for tool boxes scheduled but not yet built. Those interested will be bidding on the price over sticker and a reserve will be set for said tool boxes.

 

I think that is the same toolbox that was included in the one that was sold at BJ for 600k. It included a matching toolbox, CS autograph and a few other goodies.

 

I'll bet that exclusivity only lasts until the cash register cools off.
