i'd be curious to see what exactly the difference is between a car running that cover and one without. Just to see if it's really needed. because if the numbers were so close it made no difference that would be the very first thing I'd take off and toss in teh bin.

That's probably one of the "secrets" to the Mustang's improved mileage rating, along with the 6th gear ratio for 2011. Definitely a PITA, though.
